Zom-Bat is the fourth zombie encountered in the Haunted Woods in Plants vs. Zombies: The Thousand Pages.
Zom-Bat can shoot ultrasound from his mouth, which acts as a projectile and will stun the first plant it hits, making that plant unable to attack for a few seconds. Additionally, Zom-Bat can also fly over the first plant he encounters, but will not be able to fly again after doing so.

Origins[]
His design is based on the fictional supervillain and anti-hero Man-Bat, appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, commonly as an adversary of the superhero Batman.
Description[]
Zom-Bat wears a pair of jeans that have been ripped, showing his legs. His jeans also have a black belt. Zom-Bat has no shoes and no shirt. He has red eyes, long ears and is holding hands with his wings hiding parts of his body.
Overview[]
Zom-Bat absorbs exactly 500 damage per shot. His appearance changes upon absorbing 250 damage per shot before dying at 500 damage per shot.

Strategies[]
This zombie shouldn't be too hard to handle compared to the other zombies found in the Haunted Woods. It is recommended to use defensive plants, such as Wall-nut and Tall-nut, as those plants being stunned by Zom-Bat's ultrasound doesn't actually do anything, as they don't attack. You can also use cheap plants, such as Puff-shroom or Sun-shroom to prevent your more important plants from getting stunned.
While Zom-Bats is flying, it is possible to use a Blover to immediately remove him from the lawn. Since he can only fly once, planting a cheap plant in front of him early can easily remove this ability from him, similar to the Pole Vaulting Zombie from the first game.
Hypnotizing Zom-Bat can be a great idea, as he will now fight for you and stun zombies instead of plants. Be careful though, as planting an Hypno-shroom in front of him will cause him to fly over it if he hasn't used that ability yet. Remember that ground plants, such as Potato Mine and Spikeweed, will not get hit by Zom-Bat's ultrasound, making them good counters to both of his abilities, since he won't fly over ground plants as well.

- This zombie is a creation of Flag Zombie.
- This zombie is also an entry for the 2020 Zombie Contest.
- The "Batmint" in his almanac entry is a reference to Batman, since Zom-Bat's design is based on a supervilain that Batman tends to fight, Man-Bat.
- He shares most of his animations with Swashbuckler Zombie.
- He only loses his hand instead of his arm, since he would lose his wing as well.
