The Doomsday Map is basically one of the worst possible maps. There are 6 squares that are inhabitable by plants. Every minute or so, lava shoots out onto 4 random spaces, obliterating all plants and zombies on it, spawning dragon imps. Only certain plants can withstand it. Plants can't survive for more than 4 minutes. The heat will destroy them, unless they're and of the fire plants.

There are a few plants that can last forever. First, all the fire-weilding plants can withstand the heat. Also, and plants that don't touch the ground can withstand the heat (somehow).
