Hey everyone, welcome to another announcement! The LoD Contest is returning this year!!
Rules are simple: Make spooky-themed creations to try and beat your opponents to gain exclusive prizes! Here are the prizes this year:
- 1st place - Exclusive first place medal and a chance to be featured article!
- 2nd place - Exclusive second place medal
Other restrictions include:
- Only one entry per person
- The oldest your entry can be is from one month ago (August 13th, 2020).
The judging guidelines will be the same as last years.
- Name - 3 points
- Image - 6 points (worlds will be graded lightly due to the difficulty of drawing an entire lawn)
- Origins - 6 (plants will be graded more strictly due to a much wider range of possibilities)
- Ability (for plants and zombies) - 6
- Gimmicks (for worlds) - 6
- Almanac entry (for plants and zombies) - 2
- Roster of plants and zombies (for worlds) (to be more specific; do the plants and zombies introduced make sense) - 2
- Layout of article - 3
- Note: Only traditional tower-defense based creations will be accepted. PvZ3-styled creations will not be accepted either.
After initial judging, there will be a community vote session. Each community vote will be worth .25 points.
The deadline for submissions will be October 1st, 2020!
