Welcome back to Riddle Me That! Since majority of the people on the poll wanted another one of these, here ya go. If you don't know what Riddle Me That is, here's an explanation on how this works. Actually, even if you have played before, I recommend you continue reading this because this one's gonna be a little different.
Basically, this is a whole thread dedicated to a bunch of riddles for you to solve (I'll be the one giving you guys the riddles)! If someone answers a riddle correctly, you'll gain 3 points. No no, by 'you', I don't mean the person who answered it right, 'you' in this context means everybody! Basically, this RMT sequel is a community thing now rather than something you guys will compete in individually. Whenever someone earns points, these points will increase the Riddle Score. Once this Score reaches 60 points, everybody who has answered at least one riddle correctly will get this badge:
You guys, like the previous RMT, may use as many hints as you want, but every one hint used decreases the amount of points gained from answering a riddle correctly by one. So use your hints wisely.
Supercharged riddles return, and these riddles will have a 10% chance of appearing, which will award 6 points rather than 3. You are allowed four hours to solve this riddle as soon as it gets posted, and you may not use hints for this duration. If four hours pass, the riddle turns into a normal one, allowing you to use hints again but the point reward gets reduced back to 3.
But here's the catch. This time, everytime someone answers a riddle incorrectly, the Anti-riddle Score increases by one (look, I can't think of any names okay). Once this Score reaches 30 points, it's game over, and everybody loses and the badge goes bye bye. So be EXTRA cautious when you answer these riddles this time. If more than one person answers at once before I evaluate those answers, I'll read the answers from the first to the last. For example if there are three people who answered, and the first and third person got it wrong but the second got it right, the Anti-riddle Score increases by one for the first person's answer, then the Riddle Score increases by the number of points its reward gives for the second person's answer, but the third person's answer will be ignored since the riddle was already answered correctly.
Also, if you give an answer that actually seems plausible, but yet is not the intended answer, the Anti-riddle Score will not be increased, but you still have to think of the intended answer to the riddle.
Oh, and one more thing, please be patient for me to think of more riddles when the current one has already been answered, I'm not a supercomputer who can think at the speed of light, and I need time to think of more riddles.
TL;DR
- Riddles, answer one correctly and the Riddle Score increases by the number of points it awards.
- When the Riddle Score hits 60, everybody who has answered a riddle correctly at least once wins the badge above.
- You can use as many hints as you want, but one hint used decreases the point reward of the riddle by one.
- A riddle has a 10% chance of being supercharged for 4 hours before it turns into a normal one. While supercharged, no hints are allowed to be used, and the point reward is increased to 6.
- Every wrong answer increases the Anti-riddle Score by one, and if it hits 30, everybody loses.
- If someone gives a plausible answer to a riddle, but is not the intended one, the riddle will not be considered answered, but the Anti-riddle Score won’t be increased either.
