Carpetal Bombers are offensive mobile plants that can go down 3 lanes to deal damage.

Overview[]

Unlike most other mobile plants, Carpetal Bomber's movements are rather restricted, only being allowed to fly down its own lane and the two adjacent lanes. The player can choose which lanes it flies down.

When Carpetal Bomber flies down a lane, it fires 3 pellets on either side of it. Each pellet deals 0.5 damage points, for a total of 1.5 damage points per side. In its selected row, it flies over zombies, dealing no damage to them. However, flying zombies or tall zombies (such as Gargantuars) will be rammed by Carpetal Bomber, which does 3 damage points to the zombies, as well as knocking flying ones down to the ground.

Once Carpetal Bomber reaches the end of a row, it turns around and flies in the other direction.

If its base is being attacked, Carpetal Bomber will fly over and hover over it, focusing fire. It aims all 6 pellets towards whatever zombies are eating it.

Carpetal Bomber is somewhat based on a tulip bud. Its name is a portmanteau of "carpet bomber" and "petal."

Plant Food Ability[]

Using Plant Food on Carpetal Bomber causes it to fly down its current lane and drop large bombs in all 3 lanes, in every other tile. These bombs then explode, doing 30 damage points on the tile, and 10 damage points in splash damage. This also heals the base of the CB.
