Santa Zombie was an enemy being encountered in Arena and Penny's Pursuit in Plants vs. Zombies 2. He wwas a general zombie similar to Cardio Zombie, Z-Mech, Cake Tank, and Roman Caesar Zombie. He was first intorduced along with Boingsetta and Braincracker.
Santa Zombie will fly across the lawn with his sleigh until he falls to the 7th column, just like the two-previous general zombies. After reaching the 7th column, he will stay there and throw gifts to the plants that bring up some goodies. It can be healed or can drop Plant Food (rarely). Zombies that encountering the plants will get a jack-in-the-box that killing both plants and zombies across its tile. After a while, the sleigh will arrive again from the left side and he will leave the lawn. But, he will throw two Elf Imps across your defenses.
Each presents consists five different colors, with different abilities and rewards:
- Green- consists a Plant Food.
- Blue- boosts certain plants across 2x2 area.
- Yellow- heal certain plants across 3x3 area.
- Red with white stars- can be thrown to the zombies, explode on its tile.
- Purple- summon a purple vine that protects the plants and damaging zombies it encounter, might be similar to Endurian, but combined with Pumpkin.

He was based off santa claus, a fictional character that brings present to the children around the world. His ability to give plants some goodies and killing zombies (despite he was a zombie) was based off how santa claus give good kids a present and bad kids with a coal.

Description[]
Santa Zombie wears a common santa costume and has a white beard and mustache. When he arrives, he will fly across the lawn on the right side, similar to other zombies. He rides a red sleigh, along with several reindeers that colored in white. When he was defeated, he does not pop off his head neither destroyed, instead he will turn into sparkles and fades away.

Santa Zombie absorbs 9000DPS until he was defeated after absorbing 9000DPS or over. He does not degrade, tough.
Strategies (Free-Edit Section)[]
Santa Zombie was not even a threat, he just help plants along the way. However, the Elf Imps might be the problem. Shrinking Violet and Enforce-mint can shrink them down into the oblivion.

- He was the second zombie to have a softer side of him, which shown by his ability to help plants and defeat zombies permanently, the first being Digger Zombie.
- Coincidentally, both have the exact same body posture.
