The Rose is based on the plant from Garden Warfare 2, and is a supporting plant in Plants vs. Zombies: The Final Showdown that can cast a Goatify spell, turning a zombie into a goat.
Rose is manually activated, similar to Coconut Cannon, and when clicked, she will fire a spell through the row that transforms the first zombie it hits into a Zombie Goat. Goats have 160 DPS of health (8 peas) and move moderately fast.
When initially planted, it takes Rose 5 seconds to prepare the first spell. Afterwards, it takes 30 seconds to recharge the spell.

Rose has been studying the art of green magics since the Dark Ages, and she knows a thing or two about spellcasting, but her favourite spell has always been the Goatify. Who doesn't like seeing a zombie become a goat?

Fires off a spell that goatifies the zombie it hits, along with all zombies in a 3x3 area. Amazingly effective against groups of strong zombies, and arguably one of the best counters to Gargantuars, Z-Mechs, and Undying Zombies.
Strategies[]
Rose is a somewhat situational plant, very effective against specific, powerful zombie types due to essentially nullifying them and turning them into a faster basic zombie, but only hitting a single target every 30 seconds means she is easily overwhelmed by groups.
When using Rose, the best tactics are to come equipped with AoE plants such as Fume-shrooms or Laser Beans, and slowing/stalling plants like Winter Melons and Ice-shrooms. This can thin out the crowds and give a clear shot to hit the stronger, priority targets while also buying time for Rose to recharge her attack.
Rose is also useless solo as she possesses no means of defeating zombies on her own, simply weakening them, and arguably in the case of regular zombies, making them stronger due to the speed increase that goats have compared to regular zombies.
