Ramp is an unlockable defensive plant from Plants vs. Zombies 2 that can be obtained from a world.
It ramps out firework wheelbarrows to the air and could also be used as a ladder by most basic zombies at a limited time.
Origins[]
Ramp is based on wild onion species called Allium tricoccum, commonly known as Ramp. It is native to Eastern North America. It is also a pun of a slope pathways commonly used in buildings called a "Ramp". It's Appearance however is similar to Chard Guard's hurling position, with a smirk smile and Potato Mine-esque eyes.

Overview[]
Ramps are defensive plants and more-or-less only usable within the world that it can be obtained from. It is used to protect the plants behind by blocking out firework wheelbarrows ignited by imps, that could potentially wipe out a single lane without it. In this case it could only be used once.
On the other hand, they could act as ladders to most Basic Zombies similar to a ladder being placed on a Wall-nut, Tall-nut, and a Pumpkin from the first game. Although It'll gradually start to decay when it's used to much.
It's still vulnerable to Pianist Zombies and Gargantuars however.
Upgrades[]
Plant Food Effect[]
When given a plant food, Ramp's leaf becomes enlarged that it'll swat every zombie from all lanes in front of it back from the beginning, it'll also regenerate it's leaf if it started decaying.
Strategies[]
It's good to have Ramps ready before the initial encounters of Wheelbarrow Imps, especially on levels that contains mass of the aforementioned zombie. While after the encounter it'll definitely withdraw the plant entirely so you got to have a new batch ready.
As for other Zombies however, they could just climb through it as if they weren't there before it completely decays its leaves due to overuse, planting Wall-nuts and Tall-nuts or a pumpkin on the if there's a plant behind it could be very useful.
Another useful strategy is to plant a Garlic in front of it as it'll save more energy with the zombies switching on opposite lanes where you don't have to be bothered replacing a spare Ramp in the process before the arrival of Wheelbarrow Imps.
