Radioactive Factory is the tenth parallel world in Plants vs. Zombies: The Wacky House. This area takes place in the balcony of the factory featured in Fearsome Factory. However, in this universe, the factory has been bought by a toxic waste company, specializing in producing toxic waste.
As a result of the acquisition and poor working conditions, each level starts out with a certain amount of toxic puddles on the lawn. These puddles cannot be planted on, and they slow down zombies that walk through by 33%. The player can move around the toxic puddles by right-clicking (tapping and holding on mobile versions) on them. In later levels, especially during huge waves, mutated Peashooters and Repeaters will rise from not all, but some of the toxic puddles on-screen. These mutated plants face towards the left, and they will attack your plants only. Compared to the real Peashooter and Repeater, these mutated ones fire at a speed that is 33% slower than usual.
Radioactive Factory's natural counterpart is Fearsome Factory.
New plants[]
- Gourd Guard - High-health plant that squashes zombies when handled roughly.
- Mechadamia Nuts - Attacks zombies that are actively damaging your plants.
- Gold Magnet - Collects coins and other currencies for you.
New zombies[]
- Demolisher Zombie - Shoves plants behind it, in any of the diagonals.
- Overworked Zombie - Mindless soul that wishes for the approval of its peers.
Returning zombies[]
Levels[]
Brain Busters and Minigames[]
Only one Brain Buster appears in this world, that being:
- P10-4: Locked and Loaded - Survive the level with plants that are picked for you.
Vital![]
Vital! has, for the most part, unchanged gameplay. However, mutated plants are constantly rising from the ground, regardless of whether the tile has a toxic puddle or not. To counter this, a potion is given to the player that is filled up when 20 zombies are defeated. Once full, the player can use this potion to remove any mutated plants on the lawn and to poison zombies by clicking and dragging the cursor on them. This potion lasts 5 seconds.

Trivia[]
- This is the first parallel world since Player's House? to take place in the daytime.
- Although Planetary Plantations takes place in the daytime, the sun that falls from the sky are actually Sun Bombs.
- This mirrors Fearsome Factory, which was the first natural world to take place completely during the daytime since Du Froid Dรฉjร Vu.
Production notes[]
- This is the second and final world in the game to be drawn in a lineless art style. The next natural world would revert to the classic art style seen in worlds before The Happiest City.
- The second zombie of this world was originally a zombie called the "EMP Imp." This zombie stunned nearby metallic plants, similarly to Plants vs. Zombies 2's E.M.Peach, but affecting plants. It was replaced in favor of a zombie with a less niche ability.
