Plants vs. Zombies Character Creator Wiki

Plants vs. Zombies: The Thousand Pages is a sequel to Plants vs. Zombies 2. In this game, the player will face off against brand new zombies from different locations around the world. The goal of the game is to prevent Dr. Zomboss and his army of undead to find the missing pages of an old mystical grimoire.

The game plays and shares its art style with Plants vs. Zombies 2.

Plot[]

Dr. Zomboss, wanting to find out more about the plants and how they worked, investigated and saw how the player and Crazy Dave kept looking at this one specific book all the time, the Suburban Almanac. Dr. Zomboss figured this book could help him and his army take over the world, as they would now know everything about every plant!

One day, Dr. Zomboss sent one of his zombies to retrieve the almanac. Said zombie, found a book that seemed to fit the description. However, it was actually a very old grimoire that possessed mystical powers that Crazy Dave had in his garage for unknown reasons. Upon leaving the area, the zombie was spotted by a Puff-shroom, who alerted the other plants of the trespassing undead. The zombie ran as fast as he could, but had to use the grimoire as a shield to avoid getting hit. Pages started to fly out of it due to the damage it was receiving.

The zombie made it back to Dr. Zomboss, only missing one leg and one arm, and gave him the grimoire. Upon opening it, a light shined at Dr. Zomboss, which made him fall to the ground, dizzy. After a few seconds, he got back up and screamed at the zombie for bringing him an empty book! He demanded to his entire army to start looking for the missing pages all across the area.

Later the next day, Crazy Dave realizes that the grimoire is missing. He tells the player how important it is that the zombies never open it with all the pages inside. He always keeps a page of it on him as an emergency napkin. The player, Crazy Dave and Penny embark on a journey to prevent the zombies from completing the mysterious grimoire and unleash god knows what...

Along their journey, they will find new types zombies. They will also encounter Mysterious Travellers, who are part of a group that also want to acquire the grimoire for themselves. They act like mini-bosses, but after defeating them, you will have the choice to spare them, affecting some of the story later on.

General Hopper[]

A new character is also introduced: General Hopper. A zombie that helps Dr. Zomboss with his plans. He appears in every world with a different outfit (most of them coming from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 1/2) and serves as a sort of Mini-Boss at the half point of each world. Dr. Zomboss will often say that the zombies failed because of General Hopper, even if the plan actually came from Dr. Zomboss.

Crazy Dave's Twiddydinkies[]

Crazy Daves Twiddydinkies TTP

Crazy Dave's Twiddydinkies

Crazy Dave's Twiddydinkies acts as the shop in Plants vs. Zombies: The Thousand Pages. Here, the player can buy plants, upgrades, costumes and other useful or not so useful things from Crazy Dave with coins and gems.

Each item has an "INFO" button. Pressing it will make Crazy Dave describe the item with slightly more details and can sometimes include a small joke or other. Clicking the "BUY" button will make Crazy Dave say the price of the item, then the options to either cancel or buy the item will appear.

Challenge Board[]

The challenge board is a new feature that allows the player to try different challenges to earn rewards. These are considered hard levels compared to the ones seen in the Adventure Mode and the rewards will be better as well. They will have three attempts to beat the level. After that, it will be removed from the challenge board.

Challenges change every week to keep the board fresh.

I, Zombie[]

Brainz Express I Zombie

The first level in the Brainz Express pack

I, Zombie returns from the original Plants vs. Zombies as part of the Puzzle Mode. You get to play as the zombies and have to eat all five brains to complete a level. Eating Sunflowers gives you more sun to place down more zombies. Each world has its own set of levels with its own zombies and plants.

As of the 1.0.4 update, only Brainz Express has its own levels (excluding the tutorial).
