The minigames in Plants vs. Zombies: Build Your Lawn! are the main way of getting Sun in order to purchase plants. As of now, there are 30 minigames, but more will be added in future updates.
A minigame is played after every turn.
Camel Showdown: Each camel fragment has its sign, you will have to tap the sign shown at the beginning to earn the most points, the player with most points wins, the camels will be moving and switching positions. (Example, the sign shown is the sun, tap a camel and see if it has the sun)
Deadbeard Disaster: Press a button as much as you can for 5 seconds, then, the barrel will explode and a Captain Deadbeard will be launched, the player that launches the Deadbeard the highest wins, the more you press the button, the higher it will be launched.
Whack-a-Zombie: Zombies will be coming out from gravestones, grab your hammer to destroy them, but be careful as they might use plants as shields and you will lose the minigame! The player with the most points wins, it lasts for 60 Seconds.
Hazel Guess: Witch Hazel will move her hairs in a semi-circle form for 10 seconds, and players have to choose the zombie they think it won't get targeted, there are 3 zombies to pick, if a player chooses a zombie that got targeted, that player loses, there are 4 rounds in this minigame.
Deep Sea Mysteries: Time to fish! Grab your fishing Rod and grab as many fish as you can in 45 seconds. There are different fish and they award you different amount of points. The size of its shadow determines you which fish is.
Fishy Imp (Small): 1 Points
Dolphin (Medium): 3 Points
Imp Mermaid (Very Small): 5 Points
Deep Sea Gargantuar (Huge): 10 Points
Fun with the cones: There are 4 cones hidden in a room showcased on the screen, and each player has to find one, each player has a timer that pauses when they found the cone. There are 3 rounds, the player with the shortest time wins.
Winter Power!: Grab the iceberg lettuces on the bottom of the screen and drag them towards a zombie so that Winter Squash can destroy them, each player has their own screen, and the player who finishes destroying the zombies first wins.
Transformation Randomness: Quick! There's a zombie in a Transformation Station that's about to transform, pick the zombie you think it will transform into, and if it is wrong, you lose.
The rose's nightmare: Each player has a separate screen in which there is a rose in the middle, the rose is in a graveyard, and zombies will spawn from it, tap the zombies to destroy them and prevent them from hurting the rose, if they hurt it, the player loses, it lasts for 60 seconds.
Bipolar Projectiles: In this minigame, you need to pay attention, Dr. Zomboss will throw either ice or fire balls to your plants, and you have to pick between Jalapeño and Ice-Shroom to stop them from destroying your plants, if you pick the wrong one, you lose, be careful! as Dr. Zomboss may switch of projectile in a second, so he can be confusing. It lasts for 60 seconds. To pick Ice-Shroom, press A, and to pick Jalapeño, press B.
Memory Root: There are many cards on a table, they will be shuffled and you have to find the card with the Escape Root, there are 4 of them in the card deck, once you find one, you’ve won the game, the minigame will get harder if you don’t find the card quick, so pay attention.
Mow the Lawn: With your controller’s cursor or joystick, move your lawnmower to cut as much lawn as you can. After 30 seconds, the minigame will be finished, and it will show the % of lawn each player mowed. The player with the highest % wins.
Wall-Nut Bowling: There are 30 zombies in a 5x9 Lawn, each player gets to throw one wall-nut at the same time, each zombie is worth 1 point, the player with the most points wins.
Stormed Out: There are 4 plants on screen, and one will disappear after a lightning lands, but it will be hard to see, pick the one that disappeared and you will get points! The player with most points after 3 rounds wins. It also depends on how quick you pick the correct option if multiple players pick it.
Point System (If multiple players picked the correct choice):
1st place: 4 Points
2nd place: 3 Points
3rd place: 2 Points
4th place: 1 Point
Thorny Precision: Look! A zombie just hurt a flower, good thing you have a thorn bow to target that despicable zombie. For one small moment, a bullseye will appear and you have to aim your arrow to that part of the zombie. The player with best precision wins!

Vasebreaker: Touch a base to open it, if a plant comes out, you are safe, but if a zombie comes out, you lose the game. There are codes and hints to know what vases have zombies and which one do not (Example: 5, 2 = fifth one of the row, second one of the column) These codes change every time you play the minigame.
Evolutionary Steps: A screen will show you a plant, and you have to pick from three options which one is related to it, but beware, as the platforms where the plants are change positions and can confuse you. The player with most points wins.
Point System:
1st on picking the correct: 4 Points
2nd on picking the correct: 3 Points
3rd on picking the correct: 2 Points
4th on picking the correct: 1 Point
Incorrect: -2 Points
Healing Hands: Use your Aloes to heal a bunch of damaged wall-nuts on the screen, it takes 2 seconds to heal a wall-nut and get the point, if other players press B while you are healing a plant, they will stop your heal. To heal a plant, press A when you are close to it. The player that heals the most wall-nuts wins.
Amazing Card Draw!: With your controller’s pointer or joystick, you will draw a selected plant, the player with most accuracy wins! The accuracy is judged by impartial AI and will be measured with percentages.
Bungee Blitz: Bungee Zombies will fall from the sky and you have to use your pointer/joystick to prevent them from taking your peashooter. If they steal it, you lose the minigame, it lasts for 60 seconds.

Rocky Road: A huge road will be shown in your screen, and it will scroll really fast, there are some Spikerocks covering some parts, so you have to count them. The player with the closest result wins. The road will be shown only once.
Corn Maze: Find your way out of a corn maze in a first person perspective. The way out will be shown briefly before the minigame starts. The player with the best time wins.
Melon-y Line: Watermelons will be dropping from the sky and you have to catch them, but be careful as zombie heads will also drop down and can take you points, frozen watermelons are worth double points. The player with the most points wins.
Point System
Regular watermelon: 2 Points
Frozen watermelon: 4 Points
Zombie Head: -3 Points
Sun Robbers: Sunflower will show a button sequence that you have to follow to get sun, there are 10 rounds, the player with the most sun wins.
Sappy Ending: Each player is in a screen that has a zombie, and they have to cover it in Sap-Fling's sap by moving the joystick around it. Use L and R to rotate the zombie to the left and right. When the minigame is finshed, the percentage will be measured. The player with the most percentage wins.

Flytrap Dangers: In this minigame, you have to go through an abandoned greenhouse avoiding mutant plants, if you come in contact with one of them you lose. The player that survives the most time wins, it lasts 60 seconds.
Tough Lob: Each player takes control over a Pult and has to take down approaching zombies. Each zombie taken down gives you points, Gargantuars giving you extra but being more bulky. The player with most points after 40 seconds wins.
Point system:
Zombie: Take one hit to take down, give 1 point.
Gargantuar: Take three hits to take down, give 3 points.
Controls:
Change the camera movement with the pointer, aim with the joystick.
Green Wrestlers: All players are in a small platform that gradually becomes smaller. Players have to hit each other to take them out of the platform. The last player standing on the platform wins.
Risky Ascention: Each player has a Peashooter planted on some soil, but that soil suddenly starts rising, you have to shake your controller to prevent the Peashooter from getting buried. There will be obstacles that make the minigame harder. The player that lasts the longer after 60 seconds wins.
Fire Fighters: Use the watering can to put out the fire that is burning poor harmless plants. When you extinguish a fire that is harming a plant, you earn 1 point. The player with most points after the fire has been put out wins.}}
