Peg-Leg Zombie is an Uncommon Zombie in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes and a member of the Sneaky class. He is the basic zombie for Neptuna's army during Refreshing Return.
He costs 1 to play, and has 2 /1 .
When he hurts the Plant Hero, he steals a single segment of block meter. At the start of the turn, he moves to a random lane.
Origins and Story[]
Peg-Leg Zombie is based on the stereotypical Pirate's leg replacement, known as the "Peg-Leg".
He appears as a Pirate Zombie with a grey woolen jacket with a red headcap on his head. He's one of the most common Pirates in Neptuna's Army, all attached with a replacement Peg-Leg that gives them special abilities on the field.
During battle, they win wars in their sheer numbers, even if their Peg-Legs make them fall over. They have tried all kinds of Peg-Leg's, from ones made of wood, iron, steel and even carbon alloys.

What does a Pirate say when his Peg-Leg gets stuck in the freezer ? Shiver me timbers !
Strategies[]
With[]
The Peg Leg Zombie is a solid 1 cost zombie, that gives him extra maneuverability around the battlefield when a Plant is played in his lane. This makes him more suited on Turn 2 with another cheap 1 cost Pirate like Con-Man. With his cheap cost, he is easily expendable and can give some decent aggro ability. He also drains a small amount of block meter when he hits the Plant Hero.
Against[]
Peg-Leg's strength is only buffed, but not his health. A banana bomb can easily dispatch him. Place an important plant in front him, as his ability will move him out of that lane. With a frail one health, effects that deal 1 damage like Strawberrian or Sour Grapes easily remove him.
Trivia[]
- The Peg-Leg Zombie is the most common Pirate within Neptuna's new army.
- He tries to do Sea Shanties, but they often fall on their face.
- Peg-Leg Zombies and Hook-Jaw Zombies often wonder what their life would be like if they had their legs/arms, respectively.
