Peateor is the second plant obtained in Cosmic Crash in Plants vs. Zombies: The Wacky House. Peateor is a peashooting plant, shooting moon peas at zombies within a large range of 4 tiles. Peateor does not require oxygen, meaning he does not need a Heliumthus to survive in Cosmic Crash and The Deep Sea. He can be planted on any surface, including non-soil surfaces like water or even nothing at all.

Origins

Peateor is based off of a Peashooter and a meteor. His name is a combination of the aformentioned plant and "metor".

Rare counterpart

Rare Peateor retains the ability of its common ancestor. Rare Peator now drops dirt upon defeat, which can be used as an alternative Flower Pot. The soil can only be used on one plant, not counting Heliumthus.

Rare Peateor seems to be made out of dirt, complete with weeds overtaking his body. He seems to be in pain.

Strategies  Free-Edit Section

Peateor is a good plant to substitute Peashooter in Cosmic Crash, and other future worlds where non-earth terrain will appear. However, its biggest advantage in Cosmic Crash is its ability to survive in outer space, which effectively saves the player 50 sun each time it is planted. It is recommended to place Peateor in the middle-to-front of the board, due to its decreased range.

Despite its great advantages, it is not recommended to use Peateor entirely as an offense, as the zombies will eventually overwhelm a swarm of Peateors due to their rather low damage and low health.

In other worlds where the terrain is normal, Peateor becomes useless due to its special advantages serving no purpose, rending it as an overpriced, weaker version of a Peashooter.
