Mangoo is a plant available in Plants vs, Zombies 2. He is a mix between an area-of-effect plant and an attacking plant. He is unlocked after beating Viking Village Day 7. Mangoo slows down zombies in his planted lane and proceeds to blow up into a 3x3 pile of goop when consumed.

Mangoo is a pun based on the words Mango and goo. It's (future) design is based on a Tommy Atkins Mango.

Plant Food effect[]
When given Plant Food, Mangoo shoots three mango gelatin blobs across the entire board, along with a pulp puddle underneath each one. These blobs can trap anything below the health of a regular Conehead Zombie. Mango gelatin has two stages of damage and it is generally very weak and easy for the zombies to destroy.

Strategies[]
Plant Mangoo one tile in front of your defense plants and let zombies consume it. The zombies will now have to get through your defense, as well as the sticky goop tiles, which will further slow them down.
