The Lacrosse Star is a variant of the All-Star. His Crosse Cannon fires small lacrosse balls that deal less damage but travel faster than the football cannon. His main ability is to catch enemy projectiles and fire them out at the same speed as the lacrosse balls, they also deal slightly more damage than normal. This comes at the cost of not being able to shoot while aiming. If too many projectiles hit him at once his gun will overheat and he will not be able to catch until it cools down.

Strategies

As

Your Crosse Cannon can be used to protect teammates from enemy fire. Stay in chokepoints where enemies can only shoot at you from one direction. You can goop plants if you catch a chompers goop, providing great support. You can also catch chili bean bombs that are on the floor, denying the damage and giving yourself a high damaging attack. Catching a Kernel Corn's hot potato and shooting it out will call a butter barrage that damages plants where it lands.

With

Watch his back, as he's vulnerable from behind. His support and defense capabilities are near unmatched, so keeping him around is very important, Stay behind him as he can protect you.

Against

Since his Crosse Cannon can only catch from one direction, grouping up on him is a good strategy. Avoid attacking from the front while he's aiming, as he can't fire he should eventually stop to shoot, allowing you to shoot back at him safely. Splash damage will still hit him, so try aiming at the floor around him instead of directly at him. Keep in mind he can also absorb abilities, including chili bean bombs, making it very dangerous to use strong abilities around him.
