Endless Apocalypse - Mechanics
Zombies are reanimated, mindless, decaying corpses with a hunger for human brains. They are the main antagonists of Plants vs. Zombies: Suburbia Defenders, as the objective of the game is to prevent them from eating the player's brains by planting unique Plants to block and damage the Zombie foe. Zombies are varied in strength as well as speed, and occasionally have unique abilities and weaknesses which must be countered appropriately.

- Doesn't Move - Permanently stays on its tile, but may move to get on the tile.
- Creeper - Takes 7.5 seconds to move one square.
- Stiff - Takes 6.75 seconds to move one square.
- Basic - Takes 5.0 seconds to move one square.
- Hungry - Takes 3.75 seconds to move one square.
- Speedy - Takes 2.5 seconds to move one square.
- Flighty - Takes 0.5 seconds to move one square.

- Fragile - Absorbs 1-4 NDS.
- Average - Absorbs 5-10 NDS.
- Solid - Absorbs 12-16 NDS.
- Protected - Absorbs 17-30 NDS.
- Dense - Absorbs 32-50 NDS.
- Hardened - Absorbs 60-85 NDS.
- Machined - Absorbs 90-125 NDS.
- Great - Absorbs 180-400 NDS.
*Note that NDS has been largely changed in PvZ: SD and works much differently from PvZ2. For context, a single Pea does only 1 NDS of damage, which was changed to simplify the convoluted NDB/NDS system used in PvZ2.

Obstacles[]
Obstacles are unmoving, inanimate objects that hinder your progress and aid the Zombie foe in a variety of different ways. Obstacles vary in strength and abilities, but are always unable to move and help the approaching Zombies in one way or another.
*Note: By my definition, obstacles are anything that entirely blocks planting and can be destroyed. Due to this, things like Tall Grass and Vent Tiles do not appear here, due to them not satisfying both of the requirements to be added to the chart.
