Plants vs. Zombies: Sunny Survivors (abbreviated as PvZ: SS, PvZ: Sunny Survivors, Plants vs. Zombies: SS, or simply Sunny Survivors) is a new game idea in the Plants vs. Zombies series. It is a third-person shooter and platformer video game developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is similar to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 in terms of gameplay.

Plotline[]

Plants vs. Zombies: Sunny Survivors takes place after the events of Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville A bit of time ago, The Great War of Neighborville took place. Dr. Zomboss, as we all know, had control of the city. Crazy Dave intended to take control back. So, he secretly evacuated the citizens of Neighborville through the sewers one by one until, unknowingly to the zombies, the brains were safe. Then Crazy Dave unleashed and attack on Zomboss HQ. It was a terrible war, with many casualties on both sides. But then Dr. Zomboss unleashed a huge, surprise attack on Dave Manor. (Dave only knew because Rose told him, who could see the future.) Dave had no choice but to use his final weapon: the Tactical Cuke. The Cuke wiped out everyone in Neighborville, including Dr. Zomboss. (Dave had managed to escape to the citizens' new home.) However, some have survived...

The Heroes, as you know them from Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, all managed to survive the Cuke, most likely due to their each unique superpowers. And of course, like cats and dogs, they immediately started fighting each other. These Heroes are the sole survivors of The Great War of Neighborville, the Sunny Survivors. And they'll do anything to finish off the other side.

Description[]

Neighborville has become ground zero for a war between plants and zombies; quite literally, considering the war was caused by the Tactical Cuke. With all normal plants and zombies destroyed in the explosion, including Dr. Zomboss himself, all that remains in this not-so-quaint city is the Heroes. With quite a few on each side, each are determined to put an end to the other for once and for all. It's the start of the most epic war ever known to plant or zombie.

Gameplay[]

The game features 70 customizable gameplay classes, 35 for each team. Each class has its own specialty; what they are particularly good at: Damage, Health , Helping, Harming, Defense, Area Control, and Mobility.

Difference From Other Games  (Under Construction)[]

Sunny Survivors is extremely similar to Garden Warfare 2 in terms of gameplay, but is closer to Battle for Neighborville in terms of graphics. Sprinting has been removed to make the game more competitive.

Game Modes  (Under Construction)[]

Sunny Survivors[]

Sunny Survivors is the main game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Sunny Survivors. Players compete against each other in a competitive multiplayer deathmatch mode variant. The goal of Plants vs Zombies: Sunny Survivors is for one side to completely destroy the other. The map is quite large, so the universe eventually collapses, forces players to a specific area. This game is similar to Cats vs. Dinos and Soil Survivors in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, as well as Battle Arena in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. There are also chests that randomly spawn on the map. When a player opens a chest, they get to select 1 of 3 helpful boosts. Then the chest stays open and cannot be open again. The boosts available depend on the class that the player is playing as. Each match consists of 70 players: 35 Plants and 35 Zombies. When choosing your character you need to act fast, as only one of each character can be played as in a match at once. The Plants spawn on one side of the map, while the Zombies spawn on the other. There are several different maps that the game can be played on, each found somewhere in Neighborville.

Turf Takeover[]

A game mode where players must either capture or defend several objectives across an expanding map, which including either capturing/defending a point or escorting/stopping a payload. Plants and Zombies will be rotated to either capture or defend depending on the current map.

Team Vanquish[]

A team deathmatch variant, where two teams of Plants and Zombies fight against each other to take down opponents. The first team to reach 50 vanquishes wins, however reviving a teammate takes one point off the enemy team.

Gnome Bomb[]

A game mode where players attempt to secure a bomb (strapped to the back of a helpless gnome) and plant it at various enemy bases while defending their own. Once a bomb has been planted, the enemy team has a short time to defuse it before it destroys the base. The first team to either destroy all three enemy bases or destroy the most bases before the time runs out wins. It is similar to Obliteration mode from Battlefield 4.

Suburbination[]

A domination variant, where two teams attempt to capture three points, A, B, and C around the map. If all three areas are captured, 'Suburbination' occurs and the team who captured them all get bonuses until they lose an area. If a team has at least one point captured, they earn points until they lose all capture points. The first team to reach 100 points wins.

Vanquish Confirmed[]

A game mode where players must collect 'Crazy Orbs' from fallen opponents to receive credit. Players can also pick up orbs from fallen teammates to deny the enemy team credit. The first team to collect 50 enemy orbs wins. This mode shares the concept with the "Kill Confirmed" mode from the Call of Duty series.

Back & Forth[]

A cross between Suburbination and Turf Takeover where players attempt to capture zones in order.

Mixed Modes[]

A mix of all other game modes.
