Clamshell Zombie is a zombie in Plants vs. Zombies: The Wacky House. He is the fourth new zombie encountered in The Deep Sea. Clamshell Zombie wears an extremely tough shell that protects the zombie inside. However, he opens his shell to eat a plant, leaving him as a vulnerable zombie.

Clamshell Zombie wears a giant seashell on his back. The zombie inside resembles a regular Snorkel Zombie.

Overview[]
Clamshell Zombie absorbs 2000 damage per shot in total. The clam absorbs 1800 damage per shot, degrading at 450, 900, and 1350 damage, before being destroyed at 1800 damage. The zombie inside absorbs 200 damage, losing its arm at 100 damage before losing its head and dying at 200 damage.

Strategies (Free-Edit Section)[]
Clamshell Zombie's extremely tough health makes it one of the harder enemies to deal with, especially considering how early the game is right now. Celery Stalker can easily deal tons of damage to Clamshell Zombie's shell. A good strategy is to place a random plant in front of Clamshell Zombie, forcing it to open up, exposing the zombie inside.
