Canada is the the second Adventure Mode area available to players in Plants vs. Zombies: World Tour, and the third world overall. Canada takes place in Whistler Blackcomb, Whistler. There are 12 day levels and 12 night levels.
During the daytime, snow piles can appear through the lawn. These environmental modifiers aren't really tough, having about 20 health, but can still block your straight-shot projectiles. When they're destroyed, a Parka Imp will jump out from the snow and will head towards your plants. Because they're composed of snow, they won't take as much damage from electric attacks but will take twice as much damage from fire, melee, and ice attacks. They first appear on Day 1.
"Snowball Fight!" is the surprise attack for Canada during the day. When this surprise attack occurs, several snow piles will fall from the sky and land in unoccupied tiles. Each one contains a Parka Imp inside. They first appear on Day 3.
During the night, ice trails replace the snow piles. These ice trails prevent you from planting on them, and most zombies that walk across them will slide across at a faster rate than normal. These ice trails can be destroyed by detonating explosive plants, thawing them out by placing nearby, or by planting a Hot Potato on them to thaw them out. Damaged and missing ice trails can be reapplied by a Zomboni, and much like in the original game they can create more trails although they are unaffected by ice trails themselves. Players need to be aware that although fire plants and Hot Potato can remove sections of these ice trails, only Jalapeño can thaw out the entire trail as it's the only exploding plant that can cover the entire lane. This does not apply if the ice trails are incredibly short. They first appear on Night 3.
Freezing winds make a return from Frostbite Caves, appearing randomly during night levels partially freezing plants and they can eventually leave the plant completely encased in a frozen block, which renders the plant useless and forces you to destroy them with plants or else they'll block straight projectiles. Like with the ice trails, you can thaw them out by planting Hot Potato on them or by having fire plants be planted nearby. They first appear on Night 2.
"Snowstorm!" is the surprise attack for Canada during the night, replacing "Snowball Fight!" attacks. Also returning from Frostbite Caves, zombies will spawn in from off-screen and fly onto the board, landing in different tiles before continuing on as normal. They can be instantly destroyed by plants such as Blover or Hurrikale, and are not affected by ice trails. They first appear on Night 2.
There are 15 new plants that can be obtained here, and there are 16 new zombies that can be encountered here. The country unlocked after beating Canada is Mexico.
Order of Events[]
At the start of Day 1, Penny welcomes the player to Whistler Blackcomb of Canada, and Crazy Dave wants to find a place where they sell taco pancakes. Penny tries to warn him about the snow piles that block your plants but Dave has already left.
At the start of Day 2, Crazy Dave asks about the frozen Sunflowers on the lawn, and Penny warns that she is detecting many plants having been frozen solid, and that it's their duty to save them.
At the end of Day 2, Crazy Dave says hello to the Travel Log, Penny reminding him that it's just a log but Dave asks the Travel Log if it provides quests for the player to complete, to which Penny becomes concerned about him.
At the end of Day 4, Crazy Dave congratulates the player on unlocking the Zen Garden, and Penny gives the player a tutorial on how to use the Zen Garden.
At the start of Day 5, Penny warns that she's detected an increase in cold temperatures, and Crazy Dave is scared about getting a cold. Penny comforts him, suggesting they supply the plants to the player in the form of a conveyor belt.
At the start of Day 9, Crazy Dave asks where the zombies have gone as all he sees is snow piles and frozen plants, and Penny warns that due to the severe snow and icy weather, they might be limited in how many plants they can have on the lawn to keep the plants safe.
At the start of Day 12, Dr. Zomboss asks the player if stopping him is really worth it, worth spending time in the cold, and worth risking their brains for a fool like Crazy Dave. Dave protests, stating that he's not a fool, and Penny lets the player know that she is behind them the whole time.
At the end of Day 12, Penny is happy that the player has won yet again, and Crazy Dave is so happy that he might cry, only to realise his tears have frozen his eyes shut. Dr. Zomboss is impressed with the player's survival, but warns that they will not succeed again.
At the start of Night 1, Crazy Dave complains that it's far too cold, and Penny advises him to find a jacket to wear while the player helps stop the zombies.
At the start of Night 2, Penny warns that the cold weather will only get worse from here, and that using fire plants to warm your own plants up. Crazy Dave asks Penny if she has any hot chocolate, and then heads off to find some.
At the start of Night 11, Penny warns that these frozen Cherry Bombs must remain frozen, otherwise they will perish horribly, and Crazy Dave gives the player the advice to just "not hit it".
At the start of Night 12, Dr. Zomboss tells the player that their continued defence of the world is merely stalling the inevitable, but Crazy Dave believes that Dr. Zomboss' defeat is inevitable-er, to which Penny corrects him saying that that's not a word.
At the end of Night 12, Crazy Dave asks Zomboss how it's not inevitable that they won, and Penny tells Crazy Dave not to celebrate too early as they still have to stop Zomboss in other countries. Dr. Zomboss agrees with her, saying that this was only one small quashed invasion out of many others.

Ice Rink is the exclusive mini-game of Canada which appears on Days 5 and 10, and then on Nights 5 and 10. All five lanes have ice trails that stretch to the seventh column (Day 5), sixth column (Day 10), or fifth column (Nights 5 and 10), which acts similarly to Zomboni's ice trails, prohibiting most plants to be planted on it. However, they also make zombies slide down the trail, being quicker that usual, and flicking away any plant (if there is any) that is on its way. After that, they proceed as normal. These ice trails, like Zomboni's ice trails, can only be melted by Jalapeño. The objective reads "Survive With Slippery Ice Trails", and players receive plants through a conveyor belt.

There are a total of 24 levels in Canada. 15 new plants in total are obtained here, and 16 new zombies in total are encountered here. Two new unlockable items can be found here.
