Sometimes we hurt the ones we love. Blooming Heart knows this all too well. She gets guff from her fellow plants over it, but she stands firm. She's into zombies and makes no apologies about it.

Blooming Heart is an idea for a playable plant class in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. She is a Support class who specializes in making zombies get clumped together then attacking them all at once.

Description

Blooming Hearts get zombies clumped up. They can then use their splash-damaging attacks to defeat them all at once.

Blooming Heart's primary weapon is the Love Lobber, which fires explosive projectiles that curve downward the farther they are shot, similarly to the Yeti Chomper's projectiles. Each projectile deals 20 direct damage plus 10 splash damage. The Love Lobber requires no ammo and can be fired indefinitely with no overheat. Blooming Heart's shots fire at a rate of 100 RPM.

When activated, Blooming Heart will launch a sweet potato that functions similarly to a Gravity Grenade: it will pull all nearby zombies to its epicenter. It lasts for 4 seconds and takes 14 seconds to recharge.

When activated, Blooming Heart will fire 7 projectiles identical to the ones used in her main attack within 0.25 seconds of each other, at the spot where the player is aiming. The ability takes 17 seconds to recharge.

Hot Date

Plant a date that attracts enemies and explodes when destroyed.

—In-game description

When activated, Blooming Heart will plant a Hot Date at her location. Like Sweet Potato, this Hot Date will attract nearby enemies towards it. When destroyed, it will deal ? damage to all enemies near it. The ability takes 19 seconds to recharge.

	Refreshing Revive		● 1
	Faster refresh time for all abilities by reviving an ally. Reduces ability cooldown by 5x for 2 seconds (10 seconds total) when a teammate is revived.

	Rough Patch		● 1
	Spawn with more health after suffering multiple vanquishes in a row. After dying three times in a row, spawn with the maximum amount of overhealth for the currently used class after respawning or being revived.

	Super Savior		● 1
	Use jump and abilities while reviving. Allows jump and using abilities while reviving an ally without canceling the revive.

	Anti-Drone Defense		● 2
	Love Lobber will home in one flying enemies.

	Fire additional shots with Love is In the Air. Increases number of projectiles Love is In the Air fires from 7 to 10.

	Love is In the Air reduces enemy vision.

	Combat Aura		● 3
	Gain increased damage aura for a short time after a vanquish streak of three. Activates a damage aura with a 5m radius upon vanquishing 5 enemies without dying. Increases damage by 25% and lasts for 15 seconds (4 seconds for the user).

	Critical Blow		● 3
	Faster refresh time for all abilities by earning a critical vanquish. Reduces ability cooldown by 5.5 seconds upon critically vanquishing an enemy.

	Enemies hit by Love Lobber multiple times in a row receive additional damage.

	Move faster for a short time after receiving damage. Increases movement speed by 40% for 1.25 seconds upon taking damage.
