Bad Eggplant is a premium plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2 that available during Bad Eggplant's Bad Day Tournament in Arena. He can be obtained by collecting 250 seed packets during his event in Arena or by purchasing Premium Pinatas in the store.
Bad Eggplant will squash zombies in anger if they're nearby. When he squash a zombie, he will cause an earthquake in 4x4 area. Any zombies crossing 16 tiles around the squashed zombies will half their health, but stronger zombies only get damaged a little bit. However, armored zombies will drop their armors and start acting like a normal zombie.
He also give you random number of suns, along with different size of suns (this does not happen during Special Delivery levels). Each suns will have different chances to appear in sizes and numbers.
- Small sun (Common) - each of them costs 5 suns and will appear in large number of them:
- Thirty (Extremely Rare)
- Twenty (Rare)
- Ten (Common)
- Normal sun (Common) - each of them costs 50 suns and will appear in few number of them:
- Five (Extremely Rare)
- Four (Rare)
- Three (Common)
- Two (Very Common)
- One (Very Common)
- Large sun (Rare) - each of them costs 100 to 150 suns and will appear in small number of them:
- Five (Extremely Rare)
- Four (Very Rare)
- Three (Rare)
- Two (Common)
- One (Common)

Plant Food ability[]
When being fed by a Plant Food, Bad Eggplant will start squashing zombies, but not producing any suns. If there aren't any zombies nearby, he will start producing two big suns.
Enforce-mint's effect[]
When being affected by Enforce-mint, Bad Eggplant will deal an additional 200DPS.
