Abandoned Avenue is the second world in Plants vs. Zombies Odyssey. It takes place as the same place as Tutorial House, the player's front yard. On the stall quests of the world, it takes place on the road in front of the player's lawn.
The lawn functions exactly like it does in a daytime level in the original Plants vs. Zombies. The only difference is that hedges appear at the start of levels, similarly to tombstones in Ancient Egypt.
There are 18 levels (6 of these levels being stall quests) in this world, 8 plants are obtained and 8 zombies to encounter.
Game description[]
Zombies are not giving up in attacking your lawn! Tackle the living dead and more to protect your house and the streets!
Order of events[]
After Tutorial House - Final Lesson, the player meets Crazy Dave and he talks about his new rubber duckie which he calls Duckster. During Day 1, the player is introduced to the Sapling of Wisdom's Boost Bar mechanic, and the once being it, the player gets the Map and is able to change the buffs given to plants. The player also unlocks Rose Bouquet after Day 2. When the player beats Day 4, the player gains the Almanac, and when beating Day 7, the player unlocks the Market Stall for the world, and is introduced into the Merchant Zombie and the Market Stall buying mechanic.
On Day 12, Dr. Zomboss comes in with the Zombot 2000, and steals Crazy Dave's rubber duck. All NPCs (Crazy Dave, Travel Log, Sapling of Wisdom and Merchant Zombie) go into Crazy Dave's RV and they begin to travel to the zombie city that Dr. Zomboss is heading to.

Brain Busters and Minigames[]
Brain Busters[]
Special Delivery[]
Special Delivery is a conveyor-belt level. During this level, the player is forced to used all the plants that are in the conveyor-belt to pass the level. Unlike its previous levels, this one is a special (lined) level.
Locked and Loaded[]
Locked and Loaded restricts the player to using only pre-chosen plants. They are only required to use the plants given to them in order to win the battle. Even though the plant may be locked, they get an opportunity to use that plant (unless it's unlocked already). This will serve as a demo for that plant if ever that manages to happen. The player must win only using the given plants to them. Locked and Loaded serves as a reference for a certain weapon in real life, where once it is armed, it should not be disarmed anymore.
Last Stand[]
The player must survive a flag in order to accomplish the level. In this Brain Buster, the player is given an extreme amount of sun to make use of, as there is no falling suns to replenish sun for plant production to aid the player from a victory. All the sun-producing plants are not allowed in this Brain Buster, but other than these five, there are other plants as well that are not allowed. Followed by that, the player will deal then with an extreme number of zombies charging at their lawn.
